The group offers a full spectrum of services including airframe services, line services, component services, engine services, inventory technical management, fleet technical management, cabin integration services and interior products, private jet solutions, freighter conversion, parts manufacturing and technical training.

The HAECO group employs around 17,000 staff, of whom 5,000 are based in Hong Kong. The company was founded in 1950, following a merger between Swire's Pacific Air Maintenance and Supply Company (established in 1947) and Jardine Air Maintenance Company, and draws on more than 60 years of aircraft engineering expertise. Established in 1993, HAECO Xiamen is 58.55% owned by HAECO. It is a leading maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) service provider in Asia Pacific. It offers a full range of airframe services, including airframe maintenance, modification, cabin reconfiguration, passenger-to-freighter conversion, and line services at key airports in Mainland China. The company is also home to the HAECO group's private jet Cabin Completion Centre – Asia's first and only facility approved by Airbus and licensed by Boeing to provide one-stop design engineering, certification, and cabin completion for private jets.

As a one-stop MRO, HAECO Xiamen operates its own certified aviation parts manufacturing and testing facilities. It runs a public training and license examination centre that caters to both the technical and non-technical training needs of the MRO industry in the Asia Pacific region.

HAESL provides repair and overhaul services for Rolls-Royce engines and their components, to airlines in Hong Kong, Mainland China, the Middle East, and elsewhere in the world. A joint venture between HAECO (50%) and Rolls-Royce (50%), HAESL combines the strength and experience of two of Asia's most successful aircraft maintenance, repair and overhaul companies with a world-leading name in the development and manufacture of gas turbine engines.

HAESL started operations in 1997, initially taking over HAECO's own engine overhaul operations, and is now a leading repair and overhaul facility for Rolls-Royce's range of RB211 and Trent engines. Located in Tseung Kwan O, in Hong Kong's New Territories, HAESL operates an advanced facility, with overhaul capacity in excess of 250 engines per year. It is also equipped with one of the largest test cells in Asia, capable of testing engines generating up to 130,000 pounds of thrust. HAESL is one of a few engine MROs which has the capability to overhaul Trent XWB engines.
