The HAECO group offers a full spectrum of Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO) services, including airframe services, line services, component services, engine services, inventory technical management, fleet technical management, cabin integration services and interior products, private jet solutions, freighter conversion, parts manufacturing and technical training.

The HAECO group employs around 17,000 staff, of whom 6,000 are based in Hong Kong. The company was founded in 1950, following a merger between Swire's Pacific Air Maintenance & Supply Company (established in 1947) and Jardine Air Maintenance Company, and draws on 70 years of aircraft engineering expertise. HAECO has been listed on the Hong Kong stock market since 1965.

Established in 1993, HAECO Xiamen is 58.55% owned by HAECO and is a leading MRO service provider in the Asia Pacific region. The company offers a full range of airframe services, including maintenance, modification, cabin reconfiguration, passenger-to-freighter conversion, and line services at key airports in Mainland China. HAECO Xiamen is also home to the HAECO group's private jet Cabin Completion Centre – Asia's first and only facility approved by Airbus and licensed by Boeing to provide one-stop design engineering, certification and cabin completion for private jets.

As a one-stop MRO service provider, HAECO Xiamen operates its own certified aviation parts manufacturing and testing facilities. The company also operates a training and licence examination centre that caters to the technical and non-technical training needs of the MRO industry throughout the Asia Pacific region.

A joint venture between HAECO (50%) and Rolls-Royce (50%), HAESL combines the strength and experience of Asia's most renowned aircraft maintenance, repair and overhaul company with a world-leading name in the development and manufacture of gas turbine engines.

Established in 1995, HAESL initially took over HAECO's own engine overhaul operations, and is today a leading repair and overhaul facility for Rolls-Royce's range of RB211 and Trent engines. Located in Tseung Kwan O, in Hong Kong's New Territories, HAESL operates an advanced facility, with overhaul capacity in excess of 250 engines per year. It is also equipped with one of the largest test cells in Asia, capable of testing engines generating up to 130,000 pounds of thrust. HAESL is one of only a few engine MROs that have the capability to overhaul Trent XWB engines.
