國泰航空於一月舉辦2016年度「空中之旅」，邀請約250名來自基層家庭的市民首度與家人一同於天空翺翔。為配合今年的主題「送上感謝」，今年新增特別元素，提供機會予參加者於飛行旅程中參與不同職責。

The Cathay Pacific Community Flight 2016 took off in January, with some 250 Hong Kong residents from less-advantaged families on board; for many, it was their first time on an aircraft. Supporting this year’s theme “Giving Thanks”, a new element was added to the event, by getting some of the participants involved in various duties during the flight.
