TrustTomorrow on Education: Father and son

A father should protect his family, no matter the circumstance.

Ever since finding out about Hin’s autism at a kindergarten interview, his father has stayed optimistic and gotten Hin all the special support he needed despite the expenses it entailed.

Eventually, Hin joined a programme by the Supporting Unit for Special Educational Needs (SuSEN), an organisation set up by the Education University of Hong Kong and also a TrustTomorrow NGO partner. The programme trains students with special educational needs and their parents using specialised, innovative educational tools, which Hin’s father has described as a guiding light that has helped Hin progress rapidly. By providing children, their family members and educators with clinical support and relevant training, SuSEN helps every student enjoy equal opportunities in learning.
