TrustTomorrow on Education : Actively promoting a reading culture

In conjunction with World Book Day on 23rd April, Taikoo Primary School organised a series of activities to celebrate the joy of reading, including storytelling workshops for parents, a digital book and video channel and a short film competition. Our Swire Trust project consultant and storytelling advocate, Auntie Choi, was also on hand to cultivate the students’ interest in reading through picture book reading sessions. With education being one of its key funding areas, Swire Trust’s TrustTomorrow initiative aims to help Taikoo Primary School students immerse in a world of books through sponsoring various projects.
