In addition to its shipping agency businesses, Swire's major interests in Taiwan include the distribution of automobiles, soft drink production and airline catering.

• Dragon Forwarding Ltd.
  This wholly owned subsidiary of John Swire & Sons Ltd. is a key player in Taiwan's dynamic freight forwarding industry. The company has a reputation for first-class service covering exports and imports, careful logistics planning and sound management. It specialises in international sea and air transport and offers customised service packages to suit client requirements. Dragon Forwarding's head office in Taipei is supported by a branch office in Kaohsiung and a liaison office in Taichung.
• Swire International Travel Services Ltd. (SITS)
  Swire International Travel Services Ltd. is one of Taiwan's top travel management companies, specialising in business travel management for its multinational corporate client base. SITS also arranges outbound incentive group travel, meetings and conferences, and also offers leisure holiday planning services. The company has developed industry-recognised expertise in general sales representation for hotels, overseas tours and deluxe rail travel.

• Tai Li Co. Ltd.
  Tai Li Co. Ltd. is a subsidiary of John Swire & Sons Ltd., with activities including shipping agency, freight forwarding and marine consultancy. In addition to providing agency services for international shipping lines, including New Guinea Pacific Line, Nile Dutch Africa Line and Brointermed Lines Ltd., Tai Li is an active participant in the forwarding industry, providing sea and air freight services. Tai Li is headquartered in Taipei, with a branch office in Kaohsiung.

• China Pacific Catering Services Ltd.
  This flight kitchen business is a subsidiary of China Airlines, in which Swire Pacific has a 22.7% effective interest. Located adjacent to Taipei's Taoyuan International Airport, the company's highly automated facilities have the capacity to produce up to 30,000 meals a day. Currently, the kitchen serves 13 international airlines in addition to China Airlines and Cathay Pacific Airways. The company also provides outside catering and terminal catering services.

• China Pacific Laundry Services Ltd.
  This linen and garment-laundering specialist is a joint venture between Swire Pacific Ltd. (45%) and China Airlines (55%). From its large, modern facilities near Taoyuan International Airport, the company serves a rapidly expanding customer base that, in addition to airlines, includes hotels, fitness centres, and urban and country clubs.

Beverages Division

• Swire Coca-Cola, Taiwan
  Swire Pacific has an 80% shareholding in Swire Coca-Cola, Taiwan, one of the leading soft drink producers in Taiwan and the only authorised bottler of Coca-Cola and related brands of The Coca-Cola Co. The company also produces Nestea and Tien Ren Chinese tea ready-to-drink products.

  Swire Coca-Cola has bottling plants in Kaohsiung and Taoyuan, complemented by a network of 15 sales and distribution centres.

• Bel Air Motors Ltd.
  This company acquired the Taiwan distributorship for Volkswagen light commercial vehicles in 2005. Bel Air distributes a wide range of light vehicles for commercial use, including Multivan, Shuttle, and Pointer.

• Beldare Motors Ltd.
  Beldare Motors Ltd. holds the exclusive distributorship for Volkswagen passenger cars, and imports and distributes a wide range of passenger vehicles, from luxury sedans to mini compact cars. Beldare has developed an extensive sales and service network.

  
  
  

• Liberty Motors Ltd.
  The company acquired the Audi distributorship in Taiwan in May 2002, approximately two years after obtaining the Volkswagen distributorship. Audi carries a full line of luxury sedans and high performance sports cars and coupes, and franchisee Liberty Motors aims to provide high quality products and services to its customers and position Audi amongst the top brands in the premium car segment in Taiwan.

• Taikoo Commercial Vehicles Ltd.
  This company imports, markets, distributes and services Volvo trucks and buses in Taiwan. It operates sales and service centres in all major cities, supported by a network of authorised dealerships and workshops.

• Taikoo Motorcycle Ltd.
  In June 2007, Harley-Davidson Motor Company signed an exclusive distributorship agreement with Taikoo Motorcycle Limited Taiwan Branch (TMLTB), a newly established subsidiary company of Taikoo Motors Taiwan. TMLTB is the first authorised distributor of the sales and service of the Harley-Davidson motorcycles, genuine parts and accessories, and its branded merchandise in the Taiwan market.

• Yuntung Motors Ltd.
  This company is the importer and distributor of KIA, the most popular Korean brand of cars in Taiwan. The product line is focused on advanced design and high-quality RV models, such as the Sorento, Carnival, Euro Carens and Eurostar models. Yuntung has successfully positioned KIA as the leading imported RV brand in Taiwan.

• Swire SITA (Taiwan) Co. Ltd.
  This business operates the Ren-Wu energy-from-waste facility in Kaohsiung County, an advanced treatment centre capable of processing up to 1,200 tonnes of municipal and industrial waste daily. The incinerator is fitted with the latest pollution control and energy recovery facilities.
